Switching off Notifications Selectively-Two Different Locations
Switching off Notifications Selectively-Two Different Locations

I have two properties. What I'd like to do is leave property no 1 and turn on all notifications for that property and then go to property no2 and turn off all notifications there.
I can't work out how to set this up in the app. I have set up two groups but can't work out how to turn off notifications only for each group.
The "Home" and "Away" buttons appear to control ALL cameras, not those in the groups.
I thought of creating two accounts, one for each property, but have found if I am logged out of an account, I don't get any notifications at all.
Is there a way of turning off all notifications at once from one "room" only?

Hello again Wayne, an update, I've tried many Cloning apps and while most of them work well using my second account for the second property, none will provide any notifcations.
I've tried the "Shortcuts" mode and can set the notifcations for all the sensors (eg motion door) to switch on or off but bizarredly, for the cameras, the only options involve privacy mode and "sound".
If "Shortcuts" could control each camera's notifications, that would be ideal. I could have 4 shortcuts: Property 1 Home and Away and Property 2 Home and Away (not ot be confused with Home and Away modes, which is pointless for as they control ALL cameras).
Regarding the Home and the Away buttons, I understand that it is only a switch but currently, we have no idea which button was pressed last. At least if there was some indication on the button that it was the last one pressed, you'd know what mode the cameras are in without having to repress the button.
What's the best method for putting in a feature request for adding notifications to the camera items in the Shortcuts feature?

Oh well, I've worked it out. I had a think about what "Privacy" mode actually does: it effectively turns the camera off ie no notifications.
So that means that, because I can enable or disable Privacy mode for each camera indivdually using the shortcut feature, I can achieve my aim (because the "sensors" notifications can also be controlled using a Shortcut).
I do note that the Shortcut buttons show a tick for only a couple of seconds then go back to their resting state ie no indication that that buton was the last pressed.
I'd therefore still like to suggest that a indicator be place on the button to show it was the last pressed.

We have a feature request block, you can search if there are similar requests, vote for the thread and join the discussion. Or post a new thread to tell us about your suggestions for the product or device's feature.
For the feature that controls camera home/away mode through smart action (shortcut/automation), there are two existing posts, you can go to vote for them.
