Night vision on TC71 not working
Hi
The model I selected isn't correct but it wouldn't let me select my camera. I have a TC71
The night vision on on of my cameras has stopped working. I've checked everything against an identical camera that is working and all settings are the same.
On the camera that doesn't work at night, the IR lights come on when it's dark but the image stays black. During the day with the IR lights off the camera works perfectly. In a dark room I've toggled from Auto to Night to Day but nothing changes; the image stays black.
Ive done a reset of the camera but no change; it stays black.
Has anyone got any suggestions?
The camera is about 6 months old.

1. When the camera switches to the night mode manually, are the infrared lights turned on?
2. If the infrared lights do not turn on when the camera switches to Night mode, you can try to shake the camera, reboot the camera, and check if these steps are helpful.

Hi...yes, when I switch between day and night mode the IR lights come on/off as expected. And when in Auto, the IR lights are off in daylight and come on when the room is dark.

Hi,
Typically, when the camera works in the Night mode, the infrared light will turn on, and the infrared filter will be switched to allow infrared light to pass through, providing a clear white and black image.
In this case, it may be the infrared filter is not switched so you see a black image. Please try to shake the camera several times or reboot it, and check if it will work in Night mode.

During the day, if I switch from day to night mode the display changes from colourful to black and white.
