Hi,

My problem is with motion/other detection mods.

Especially when there is smoke, fog or rain, the camera goes crazy.

When I turn off motion detection, the other detection modes do not work properly. Even though I lowered the motion detection to the lowest level (1), the camera is in continuous recording mode and the alarm/notifications never stop.

In this sense, it is completely meaningless for the camera to have AI and alarm features because of this problem. I feel the same way about the camera as I do about someone who constantly lies. A camera that constantly lies and gives false information. After a while, you turn these features off completely and the camera is no different than a cheap camera.

Another situation is with other detection mods. For example, it can detect an upright wheelbarrow as a person. Another example, the funniest one in my opinion, is that it detects the equipment in the front triangle of my travel trailer as a person.

Please, if there is anything you can do about this problem, I need your help.

By the way, I have tried all the detection levels from 1 to 10. There is no difference in most cases and it gets even worse when the camera is in night mode. The camera I pass in front of many times doesn't even detect me at night, but my god, the wind coming from the chimney and passing in front of it causes a stir even because of the smallest smoke or fog.

Of course, there is another problem in this regard. From time to time, in fact, mostly, if you enter and exit the detection area from a place close to the camera, it does not even record, let alone track.

So, if you know how to do it and how to approach it, you can easily enter and exit a place with this camera attached without fear of being caught. You don't even have to look for its blind spot.

Let's say it recorded because it detected movement, but this time it does not even track you, it does not even detect you as a person.

I tried these settings at default. I also tried various combinations. For example, I lowered the motion detection to 1 while the other settings were at default, but I got no results. I increased the other settings, and it detected a bee 3-4 meters in front of it as a person. It thought my dog was a car, but it ignored a vehicle that entered my property without permission at night and continued to follow the smoke. I didn't know what else to say.

I know it was a bit long, but I had to explain the problem as best I could.

Thank you in advance.

Hi,
As you can see in the following instructions, the basic camera's motion detection mechanism is based on image changes between different frames. The frame is one of the many still images which compose the complete moving picture. If there is a difference between the frames, the camera will recognize it as a motion detected.

You can check if the tips in the instructions will help to reduce motion detections.
How to reduce motion detections from rain, snow, or insects, etc

For the reported issues, please provide the following information for analysis.
  1) Please provide us a picture of the camera's Device Settings > Detection page, and send us the sensitivity value of the enabled detection types.
  2) Can you send us the videos showing the reported issues? You can upload the videos to your cloud server(such as Google Drive), generate a link to download them, and send me(@Solla-topee) the link via a private message.

Best Regards
