Model: Tapo H100
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.5.23

Hi.

I am trying to connect the H100 to a Apple Homekit and it "doesn't work". I have tried adding via the code, via the QR Code. I have tried pressing the Sync button and I have tried turning it on and off.

The Home App see's the Bridge and tries valiantly to connect however it continues to fail.

All devices have the latest OS/Firmware:

iOS 18.3.1.

Homepod is on 18.3

H100 is on 1.5.23 firmware.

Try to create a new Home and add the H100, see if that works.

Is there any error message? Please share a screenshot here.

Hi Wayne. New home created and still not working. See screenshots below:

1. This is what I see after scanning the QR code.

2. This is the error. Device was tried without the sync button being pressed, pressed, turned off and on:

Make sure your phone is under the same WiFi network as the hub during the configuration, turn off cellular data and disable VPN if any. For testing purposes, try to create a new home and add the H100, see if that works.

What router do you use?

iPhone is on the same network, cellular data is disabled and no VPN connection is turned on and nothing has changed; still showing accessory not found.

I am using a GL-MT2500A as the router and NextDNS as the DNS service. Looking at the logs, I am seeing the following from my iPhone when trying to configure the Homekit:

NextDNS are not reporting anything relating to TAPO, TP-Link, Matter or Apple as being blocked.
