Multiple notification icons on the screen unintentionally cleared
Samsung Galaxy mobile phone.
I have a number of notifications showing on the Tapo icon on the mobile home screen. 4 in this case.
Swiping the screen from top to bottom will open the notifications like this:
Tapping a notification will open the Tapo app and show the recording. Going back to the home screen and the rest of the notifications would still display.
After a firmware update, tapping a notification will open the Tapo app and show the recording. But going back to the home screen, and all multiple notifications will be cleared off the screen. I did not use the Clear icon at the bottom.
These are the notification settings for the phone. How can set it so that it will not clear all notifications when only pressing a Person Detected icon?

Hi,
What's the model number and OS version of your Samsung phone?
What's the Tapo app version?

I thought it had fixed itself, because it came back to to how it use to be for a short while a few days ago. It still clears all notifications when only pressing a Person Detected icon.
Mobile phone: Samsung Galaxy S24+
OS version: Android 14
Tapo version: 3.7.811

Hi,
Do you mean when you press a notification (such as a motion-detected notification), other notifications on the phone will not be cleared, but if you press a person-detected notification, all other notifications will be cleared?

No. It does not matter what detection it is. It could be motion, person or vehicle. If you press any detection icon at the bottom, middle or top, they will all be cleared after viewing.
I found how to reproduce this, and I tested this a few times. If you have the Tapo app running in the background, all icons will not clear if one is pressed. If you have the Tapo app NOT running in the background, all icons will clear if one is pressed.

After a number of tests, I have decided that multiple icons of detections are irrelevant now, and it is more efficient to just use one notification icon to view a detected event. You can then arrow back to various cameras to view live.

Hi,
Thank you for your attempt.
And if you want to see the received notifications, you can also go to the Tapo app > Home tab > Bell icon > your camera page to find notifications.
