Solution thanks god working. I have another question, how can I disebled firmware update on doorbell 230S1? Nowhere setting that stoping automatic update??
Auto update isn't available for every model. You can check through this path to verify whether the D230 supports it: Tapo app > doorbell liveview page > Device Settings page > Firmware Update, check if there is an Auto Update option at the bottom.

I am having EXACTLY the same issue since the recent firmware upgrade; doorbell pressed once but both Doorbell and Hub continue to ring incessantly until disconnected from power.
1. I reset both doorbell and hub - no improvement.
2. I modified Ring Duration of the Hub under Paired Chimes section of Doorbell settings.
Setting to "As Ringtone" results in hub not ringing. Setting duration to "Custom" results in hub not ringing.
Whoever rolled out this new firmware without testing the most basic and necessary features of the product needs a stern talking to in front of their team!

Hi just purchased this doorbell and I can't stop the chime from ringing when doorbell pressed. This is soooooo annoying. Will be returning this product very shortly if this firmware is not fixed. When I go into camera settings and paired chimes the h200 is not shown. It asks to pair a hub or chime. As the hub is already paired it does not find it. Is there a way to roll back firmware? Massive fail on Tplink here.

Along with several other people, I have the problem that after selecting "Paired Chimes" the already-connected hub is not given as an option.
There is a cartoon image of a dog and a button for "Add Chime/Hub".
When I proceed to try to add hub it fails because it assumes I am trying to add a new hub.
From scouring the web, it seems possible that this is a problem with the iOS version of the app.

Hello everyone, here is an update for the situation discussed in this thread.
If the connected hub does not appear on the Paired Chimes page, or the app won't find the H200 when attempting to add a new chime, check this article for solution. What to do if Tapo H200 hub keeps ringing when Tapo doorbell D230 is pressed?
