Firmware Version: 1.1.16

Since the Update to 1.1.16 I have a Problem with watching and downloading videos from my D235. For example the camera Shows a recoding of 44 Seconds but I can only watch 20 seconds. If I try to download the Video it is failing after 47%. With the version 1.1.14 everything was working fine. I have tried a different SD card but the problem is still there.

The issue discussed in this thread for the Tapo D235 will be addressed in the next firmware.

Does this occur in every video clip? Try to watch it on another mobile device, see if there is any difference.

 

Have you tried to format the SD card? Does it help?

Yes I have the problem with every recording.

I tried formating the SD Card and also a new one. The problem is still there.

All devices are showing the same behaviour.

If I check the videos on the computer all videos are complete, but I can see that there is a freeze frame at the time when the replay stops in the app.

I am going to send you a video from the app.

I've searched in the Community for simmilar Problems and noticed that the topic "Tapo C520WS - Video freezes after 2 sec / Playback & Download" sounds a lot like the problem that I have with my Doorbell.
