enlightened Highlight Features

  • Added support for migrating sub-devices to another Hub

Easily transfer the connected devices from your original Tapo hub to a new one, without re-adding the sub-devices individually.

  • Added support for Local Smart Action

Let the smart hub take over the automation and make sure it runs normally even when there are network fluctuations. Local smart also brings faster response times.

@Wayne-TP Migrating from H100 to H200 seems possible from the H200 side, but... Cannot proceed as "Country/region is different from original hub" ie timezones are different! H100 is set to Europe/London (can't be changed) and H200 is set to UTC-00:00 Europe/London (can be changed but closest is UTC00:00 UTC). Seems H100 needs to align its options with H200.

@Wayne-TP My hub have been working really well until this update. After that, keeps disconnecting from my 2.4Ghz wifi network. Once I connect the ethernet wire, hub got connected again.

The migration feature is supported on the H200 so far. Tapo H100 does not support this feature.

What's the led status of your H200 hub when it disconnects? Check the hub's signal strength when in WiFi connection. Improve device's signal strength if it is weak. How to check and improve the network connection stability of Tapo&Kasa smart devices

If device's signal is strong, try to change router 2.4GHz channel to 1, 6, or 11, and fix the channel width to 20MHz.

@Wayne-TP Thanks for your answer. Light was orange. After I disconnect the Ethernet wire, resumes the WiFi connection for some hours, but sooner or later turns out to orange. Wifi Signal is the best (strong) cause It is very close to the wifi6 router. I will try the channel change or the band width and will get back to you.
