H200 local smart actions
Good news! Finally, we have local smart actions enabled on h200 last firmware!
Looks like p100 doesn't support this feature as compatible action, like p300. Maybe soon?

@FinderQ Hi, I've seen the notification for the H200 update this morning but haven't done it yet - I've started to hang back from updates to see what people report first.
Can you explain what "Local actions" are please?

@HmmmUK some automations are stored locally, there is no need for an internet connection when they are executed. You see them noted with a blue box next to each automation. Here it is explained better:

Thx @FinderQ. I saw the firmware update come through but cannot find the release notes on the site... appears they are not published yet??? I did read the brief description before I hit update in the app, but once updated there is no way to see the details of the update in the app once completed...
Let me know if I am missing something. Thx

I can see the problem... the Australian site takes me to the US firmware updates, even though the one above has been downloaded to my device here in Aus. It is not yet listed on the us firmware updates... and prob explains why I have not been able to find other updates....
@Wayne-TP Are we in Aus getting US or UK updates? Can you please read the above and advise. Thx

sorry, I explained this slightly incorrect... There are Aus specific pages (the site keeps directing me there based on location) but they list the US updates and the last firmware listed for H200 is back in September 2024.

And if I go to updates for my C420 cameral, last update was 2023-08, even there have been multipe updates during 2024... The US pages are uptodate however...

I'll leave this with the Tapo guys to sort out... but at least now I know to check the US updates. Thx.
