Model: Tapo C120
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.2.3

When I download videos stored on the SD card, the file name contains the date and time when downloaded, not the date and time of the recording.
Recordings from different dates that are downloaded at the same time therefore have the same date, only the time (minute/second) is different.
Is there anything I can do to keep the recorded date/time in the file or filename?

Hi,
Currently, there are no settings on the Tapo app to change the video recording file name.
Where did you see the file name of the video recording? I'll record your feature request and forward it to the relevant team for evaluation.
Best Regards

  @Solla-topee

Selected a file in the app and downloaded it to my phone.
The file is named "1739298382705.mp4" - unix format in milliseconds - which is the time of the download.

Actual time of recording: Tue Feb 11 2025 05:27:42
The correct file name would then be: 1739248062 - unix format in seconds (missing 3 numbers to get milliseconds...)

I know WHEN I downloaded the file, but not when the recording was made!
I have "solved" the problem by  enable the timestamp in the image, but that is not what I want.
