Request for Extended Energy History in Tapo App

I’ve been using Tapo P125M and EP25 smart plugs as well as Kasa KP125M smart plugs, all within the Tapo app, for energy monitoring and appreciate their reliability and accuracy. However, the 7-day limit on energy history storage is a major limitation.

To make meaningful month-to-month and year-over-year comparisons, or comparing the same months scross several years, I would love to see an option for longer-term energy tracking — even if it’s a reasonably-priced paid subscription service. A feature allowing monthly and yearly energy reports would greatly enhance the usefulness of Tapo’s energy monitoring ecosystem.

Many users, including myself, would gladly pay a reasonable fee for cloud-based storage of energy data beyond 7 days. This would provide true historical insights and make Tapo devices more valuable for long-term energy efficiency tracking. It would also put the competing  Sense Energy Monitoring Product, whose only advantage is long term energy tracking, out of business, where it belongs.

Could you share if there are plans for extended energy tracking in the Tapo app? If not currently planned, I’d appreciate you forwarding this request to your development team.
