My doorbell will not record between 12am and 6am, outside of these hours it records and sends notifications to my phone. I have the recording schedule set to always (full orange). I have the doorbell set to record in loop mode to an SD memory card. I hade a car damaged in my garden at the weekend but I didn't get any recording. I get many recordings in the dark but only up until midnight. The WiFi test returns a "Good" result. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you receive any detection notifications during that period?


Try to test this yourself, like walking in front of the doorbell after midnight, see how does the detection and recording feature works.


And how far is your car from the doorbell? You may try to move around the same distance when doing the tests.

I'll try the test after midnight, the car was approx. 1.5M from the Tapo.
