Hello.

I have multiple cameras (C500 and TC70) and a smarthub H100. I want the hub to perform a different ringtone depending on which camera detects a person. When the C500 detects a person, I want to play a ringtone. When the TC70 detects a person, I want the hub to play a different ringtone and turn on a smartbulb. So I created two very simple automations for these actions. However, the automation for the C500 only works if I disable the automation for the TC70. If I enable the automation for the TC70, the C500 still detects a person (because it sounds the detection alarm), but the corresponding automation does not trigger. How can I have both automations enabled and working at the same time? The effective time is set to 'always' in both automations.

Thanks!

Try to change a different action device in the C500 automation, check if similar issue exists in this case.

@Wayne-TP Thank you for your response. I have configured the C500 automation to sound the ringtone on the hub, and the TC70's automation to turn on the lights, without a ringtone. This works. I think when i want two different automations to sound a ringtone on a hub, I would need a hub for each one. I just think this is strange and does not work as expected. Maybe if both automations would trigger at the same time, the hub would have some issue playing both ringtones at the same time, that I would understand. But having one automation not triggering at all if both trigger the same hub seems weird to me.

Just in case, the cameras have been installed in different locations and the tests were done on each camera separately, right?

Please send me the following information through private message, our team will help to check it.

1. Your TP-Link ID (email)

2. The name of these two automation.

3. Perform the tests again and provide the time of your operation.

4. Your timezone.
