Model: Tapo C425 KIT
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Bought x12 C425 cameras for 2 locations in different countries. Both set ups connected to TPlink AXE5400 Pro Mesh 6E WiFi. I have 100% uninterrupted reporting from other live data systems on the same network eg Fronius Invertor. On my mobile device it is showing 9 devices offline across the 2 locations and they are all connected to the Deco WiFi with solid 3 green bars.

Q1 On my wife’s phone it shows in one location 5 on and 2 offline, on my phone all offline. Identical phones, same versions, same updates, even the same login …. Why is this?

Q2 currently 9 are offline across both locations other devices are happily reporting seamlessly. There is nothing I can do apart from switch off and on I have tried every bit of feedback. Do I just throw them in the bin and publish online feedback or does this get fixed?

I want a simple system that works. My user experience is terrible I don’t wish long protracted IT analysis and time wasting ….. what is your plan?

Hi,
We will help you in this matter, however, we also need your cooperation to locate the issue.

1. You can refer to the instructions below to troubleshoot if the cameras keep going offline.
What should I do if my Tapo smart device keeps losing connection or going Offline?

2. When the camera displays offline on the Tapo app, what's the LED status on it? The camera may be connected to the Wi-Fi but not the cloud server, so you can watch them on the Tapo app locally but not remotely.

3. Please describe your network diagram in different countries. For example, how the Deco units connect to each other, which Deco the camera connects to, etc.

4. How often does the disconnect issue occur? How do you recover the connection?

Best Regards
