Automations are good, but could make use of some very interesting things. 

- possibility to start an automation as soon as it was enabled (trigger should be "start automatically")

Why this? 

As an action of automation it's possible to enable other automation. 

For example if I have automation A where I turn a pump off due to temperature trigger, then I want to check if all the other pumps are off in order to turn the main pump off.

So, I do this by enabling other automation B where if all conditions are met (all pumps off) I will turn the main pump off.

I cannot do this with shortcuts as in shortcuts you can just run stuff but not implement logic.

Today, I cannot do this because the only triggers for automations are time (1 time / day; not regular check every 10 mins for example), device status change and location.

- add possibility to trigger an automation on a regular time interval, each 5 mins for example

- add variables in automation.

For example, I want to trigger upon temperature change, but the threshold should be a variable which I can use in multiple automations / shortcuts.

The advantage, use same automation for different thresholds instead of creating more automations with hard coded thresholds.
