Dear TP Link support team

i have just purchased an indoor cam Tapo C100 (V5)

while trying to setup the cam, the Tapo APP says that i have to join my camera's local network which appears in my wifi list as "Tapo_Cam_2BF0"

but no matter what i do (i followed all steps) it just keeps giving the note "unable to join the network Tapo_Cam_2BF0"

what should i do?? Why is it so difficult to connect with a camera?? We have so many smart home devices easily working and this seems unreasonably difficult to set up...

i have alreasy reseted the camera 4 time. Already revoot my iphone. Tried through Ipad instead. Turned off other networks. Done every

please assist!!!

  @Pagoualex

Hi,
Typically, you can refer to the instructions below to troubleshoot if you fail to configure the camera.
What should I do if I fail to configure Tapo Camera?

For the reported issue, please confirm the following information.
  1. What's the LED status on the Tapo C100? Can you see the default SSID of the camera on the iPhone's Settings > Wi-Fi page?
  2. Can you connect to the camera's default SSID on your iPhone? If so, check the IP address on your phone.
  3. Ensure the VPN and antivirus apps on your phone are closed if there are.

Best Regards
