T300 local only
I have just bought a leak smart sensor to add to to my existing Kasa KH100 hub, heat sensors, TRVs, and smart plugs. So far everything works flawlessly, but for some reason the T300 is showing local only on both the Tapo and Kasa app. This is also preventing me for setting up any smart actions for leak detection or get notifications etc. I've tried various settings on the router but nothing works, have I got a faulty unit as I've not had this issue with any other device connected to the same hub?

Check if you can ring the KH100 hub remotely, such as when the phone uses cellular data.
Try to reboot the T300 by re-installing the battery. If this doesn't work, reboot the hub and router.

@Wayne-TP that sorted it, thanks. Connection was fine to the hub using 5G, and taking the batteries out didn't do anything. But unplugging the hub for 5 minutes and plugging it back in did the trick. I got a notification from the app that it was back online, and I'm not able to control it properly, and setup smart actions and notifications etc. No idea why this one was temperamental and the other sensors worked fine first time though...

What error did you receive when setting up the smart action and configure T300's device settings?

@Wayne-TP no specific error but I do remember it saying something about an unstable wifi connection or something similar and to retry. It worked on the retry but in local mode only. Subsequent uninstalls/resets didn't give the message but didn't connect properly either, only resetting the hub fixed it...

Just to clarify, did you also reset the hub after rebooting it? Or did you do the reboot only?

@Wayne-TP unplugged it for 30 seconds and then plugged it back in again. No reset.
