Hello,

I am having an issue with my Tapo C200 camera and I need your help. For some time now, I have been unable to connect my camera to the app or access its Wi-Fi network for setup. Here are the steps I have already followed without success:

Full reset: I have held down the Reset button for over 10-15 seconds to reset the camera. However, the camera still does not seem to enter setup mode (AP mode) and is not broadcasting its own Wi-Fi network. I have also tried holding the button for 30 seconds to force a full reset, but that did not work either.

Power check: The camera is properly powered, and I have tried multiple USB cables and power adapters. There is no apparent problem with the power supply, but the problem persists.

Wi-Fi connection: The camera does not seem to be broadcasting its Wi-Fi network for me to configure it. I tried with different devices to see if I could detect its network, but it was inconclusive.

Hi,
1. Please try to power on the camera, wait for two minutes, power it on.

 

2. When the LED on the camera does not change, press the reset button for 10 seconds, and please pay attention to the LED status.

 

3. If the LED does not change at all and no default SSID broadcast, it's suggested to contact your retailer or local support to check if your camera is under warranty.
If the LED changes when resetting it, please describe the LED changes.

The led changes from red to green but its wifi network does not appear

Hi,
When you reset the camera, does the LED change from flashing red to flashing green and then don't change anymore? And the LED stays flashing green all the time?
If so, you can contact your retailer or local support to check if your camera is under warranty if your reset operation is no problem.

  @Solla-topee the leds work normally when I reset the camera I even watch a video on youtube the leds of my camera and the one of the camera which is in the video light up in the same way but at home the wifi network does not appear
