The reboot function no longer works since the last firmware 1.2.23 update

I bought two C425 cameras. One of the cameras can no longer reboot via the app since installing the latest firmware 1.2.23.
Also the camera turns off for no reason after 2 or 3 days even if the battery is at 100%.
It's really a shame because the camera worked perfectly for 4 months until installing this firmware.
could you help me solve this problem?

What do you mean by the camera getting shut down if you try to reboot the camera remotely? The camera goes offline in the app? How about the actual status of the camera? What's its led status when this happens?
Can you access the camera when connecting back to the local wifi after the remote control attempt?
If the problem is consistent, you may submit an app log and a camera log in the app to the support team for further assistance.

Please check if you still can watch this camera remotely (use cellular data or other WiFi). Check if you can reboot the camera locally, when the phone connects to the same wifi as the camera.
If it is a remote control failure issue, refer to the suggestions in this article, check Case 2. What should I do if I can't view the Tapo camera?
About the second problem you mentioned, please provide more detailed information so we can understand what is happening. For example, how do you tell the camera is turned off? What's the status of the camera led at that moment? What's the camera status in the app?

The problem is not that I can't view my camera on my smartphone. I can't reboot remotely the camera. If i try, it simply shut down the camera. Then I have to restart manually the camera.
Moreover, I try again. The camera shut down for no reason after 1 or 2 days even if the battery is full. It was never the case in the previous firmware.
