I have found that I can not use "Auto" mode, instead of manually switching between Day and Night modes, because the lighting in the cameras view is so bright that the camera never enters Night mode to automatically control the spotlight, so I have to permanently have it in Night mode regardless of time of day or light levels.

If I don't use night mode, you can barely see anything so it would be great if I could suggest adding a time & day schedule option similar to the smart plugs, to set switching between day and night mode manually.

Best way to do it --- Have a "Manual" modes screen, chosen by clicking modes menu on camera live view, choose manual, get a pop up which shows a popup to set start and end option for day and night modes. Possibly having a days of the week bar across the bottom. See attached photo from smart plug schedule screen.
