Delay in automation
Hi I am new to Tapo. Have everything set up with a range of bulbs incl L630, L510 and L530. Sometimes with the sensors H100 they come on as soon as triggered but most of the time they all take at least 20 seconds.
The L630 despite being all meant to come on at the same time can sometimes just turn on 1 and then 20 seconds later the 2nd and some time later the third
Theu are all close to the hub closest being just 2 metres away. Theu also work perfect when I turn on through the app with no delay. I have reset and updated everything and updated router etc but nothing has made a difference.
Anyone experience anything similar or have a fix ?

Check the suggestions here. What To Do If Tapo Smart Action (Automation/Shortcut) Doesn't Take Effect or Delay?

@Wayne-TP thanks Wayne. I have checked all and still having the same issue. Channel is 1, signal strength on all is -32 to - 50 (RSSI) and the channel width as 20MHz.
At a loss as to what else it could be ?

Having a read through the forum and the above seems to have had the same issue and it was resolved by the team. Is this possible to look at ?

That's the not same issue, that thread was posted back in 2022.
Can you share screenshots of your automation settings here? Please also verify whether your automation is a local smart rule -- if there is a "Tapo icon" on the automation entry.

@Wayne-TP Thanks Wayne. Its looks like the exact same issue. Here is some screenshots. they are local smart actions set in the app. None of them are showing the blue icon that has never appeared for me. Thanks in advance

I see that there is only one light on the action list for this automation. Do you mean there is a delay for the light to turn on when the motion sensor is triggered? What's the delay time?

Hi Wayne Yes this is just one setup. Its random. could be anything from 10 seconds to a minute after the trigger. also seems to be worse after the bulbs have been off for a period of an hour or so. same with the rest of the bulbs. for example i have 5 L630 bulbs that when triggered all come on at different stages during the first minute despite all having the same automation setup
