Notification triggered even for motion outside marked zones
Hi I have Tapo doorbel d230s1 and I have set motion zone till my parking and when vehicle passes by main road still Iam getting notification. Any solution on this

The problem is related to your detection settings and the actual events. Please confirm the following information for further analysis.
1. A picture of the camera's Device Settings > Detection page.
2. A picture of the activity zone.
3. A video showing the reported issue.

@Solla-topee What is the point of confirming again while this issue never get fixed even though so many people report for the same issue over years??? I'm getting disappointed. Obviously you already had more than enough reports for this Same issue in your database. Funny.

Hi,
The problem may be that the light and shadow changes in the activity zone trigger the notification.
When a vehicle passes by the main road, is the notification received a motion-detected or vehicle-detected notification? Can you send us a video showing the reported issue?

@Praveenk I have emailed them about this same issue in details and screenshots as well just a few weeks ago. I waited and They never respond anything back. So I had to stop using the "motion detection" , it detected everything and everywhere, no matter how small or where I put the detection zone, how low the sensitivity I set. It just ignored all the settings and the zone at all time. : (
While other detection AI options like Person Pet Car, they kinda work normally but they aren't perfect. So this is why I still need "Motion detection" to work, It is the basic and most important part in security cameras.

@Solla-topee in this image if you see the van is outside my zone and the shadow is also outside my zone but it detected it and strange thing is it detects as person
