I want to get these cameras but it says they are 2.4ghz. My virgin router is set up dual band. So, like my other device, can I set router to 2.4ghz, connect the camera, and then switch the router back to dal band once cameras are connected? Or will the router need to be permanently on 2.4 for cameras to work? Thanks.

@Chrisgx Go into the router settings and turn off Smart WiFi. Then rename the channels separately

A lot of routers come with the 2.4GHz and 5GHz merged. If you split this in your router, it makes it easier. What router do you have?
