Hi,
1. The shared account can't stream the camera locally, and it can only stream the camera via our cloud server.

 

2. On your second device, you can try to stream the camera locally if you have logged in to the Tapo app with the owner account, and the device should be connected to the same network as the camera.

Thank you, I can confirm that this has resolved the problem. I logged in to my tablet with my own account, forcing the video stream to be local, and I have not had the 5 minute restriction warning appear for over 24 hours now.

 

It would be useful if the option to share, could detect whether the sharing device was indeed on a local network, and use that in preference to remove streaming.#

I also shouldn't have to log into my own device with my own account ; I should be able to share to a second device, and have the option to stream locally if available.
