My c520ws started having wifi issues. And after a few days it just stayed offline on my app. So I did a reset and tried to add it again on tapo app. But i cant pair it again cause i cant find the Tapo_Cam_xxxx ssid. No matter how many times i did it. Can someone help me?

Hi,
If you can't find the default SSID of the camera, it may be you have not reset the camera successfully.
1. Please press the reset button for 10 seconds on the camera to factory reset it. Pay attention to the LED status on the camera when resetting it.
2. Wait for two minutes, and check if the LED on the camera is flashing red and green.
If so, check on your phone to see if you can find the default SSID or not.
3. If not, please send us the LED changes when resetting the camera and the LED status on the camera after resetting.
You can also check if the default SSID appears on other devices, such as another phone or laptop.

@Solla-topee I am having the same issue. I have reset it several times. Waiting for it to say it is reset. No other device can find the WiFi either.

Hello,
I managed to take down the camera yesterday. I did everything but the wifi just wont show up.
I also tried connecting it on ethernet and it worked. So now i decided to just use it using ethernet.

Hi,
If the camera is working via the Ethernet connection, you can remove it from the Tapo app when it's connected to the cable to factory reset it, then check if the default SSID will appear.
If the problem remains, it may be the camera's Wi-Fi section has an issue. You can decide to keep using the camera with an Ethernet cable or contact your retailer or local team to check if your camera is under warranty.
