My outdoor camera has been working well until I had to change my WIFI due to a new carrier last week.  Since then it has only been blinking red.  I have tried to use the reset button by the memory card with a paper clip, holding it for 10 seconds+, but that doesn't change the light sequence.  I have unplugged it, pulled the memory card to try reboot it, still nothing.  It no longer shows up on my APP and because I am not getting the amber and green flashing I can not reconfigure it to make changes on my phone.  

 

Any suggestions?

Hi,
You can refer to the following steps to troubleshoot.


1. Change your router's Wi-Fi name, password, and security type to the same as before, once the changes take effect, reboot your camera and check if it will work.
If so, but you want to use the new Wi-Fi name and password, please reset the camera first or remove it from the Tapo app when it's online, change the router's Wi-Fi settings, and then reconfigure the camera.

 

2. If you do not want to change the Wi-Fi settings on your router, you can try to connect the camera to the router by an ethernet cable and check if it will work.
If so, reset the camera and reconfigure it to connect to the router's Wi-Fi.
