Tapo C425 does not connect/stream to Echo Show 8
I am having an issue with my two Tapo C425 cameras displaying on the Echo Show 8. I have purchased two C425 and one Echo Show 8. Both C425s are set up on the mobile app and working fine.
Have activated the Alexa skills on the Echo (Tape and Kasa), have also activated the two skills on the mobile app. Both cameras are found in the Echo and displayed in the Alexa app. When I ask the Echo: ‘Alexa, show me the front door’, the Echo only shows the screen ‘Waiting for Tape’ and after approx. 10 seconds the voice message ‘The camera is not responding’. Sometimes I get a grey screen and a few pixels, plus outside noises are transmitted.
Alexa app, Tapo app, camera firmware is up to date. Restarting all devices did not help. Wifi, Echo and cameras run via 2.4 network. I have deactivated and reintegrated all skills, tried to set up each camera individually, but none of this has helped.
Does anyone have any other ideas?
