I would like for there to be outdoor plugs that support the energy monitoring feature.

Currently there are indoor plugs with energy monitoring, and outdoor plugs, none of which support energy monitoring.

In outdoor spaces where I want energy monitoring, I have resorted to using indoor plugs as long as they are in a sheltered space, such as a carport, greenhouse, or under the overhang of the roof.  These are relatively sheltered from getting wet directly, but still subject to large temperature swings and moisture in the air (as well as sunlight, though I have avoided putting them on the south side of the house).

It would be better if there was an outdoor-rated plug with the energy-monitoring feature.
