Firmware Version:

Hello,

I have a 3-way switch for my outside lights. The first switch is inside the house and the other one is outside. I would like to add a HS210 inside my house to control the outside lights with my phone. However, I can't figure out how...This is the current wiring the electrician put in place when I built the house:

Is there a way (with this wiring) to replace the inside switch (on the right) with an HS210? Or is it impossible and I would have to replace the outside switch (on the left)...which is impossible because during winter it can be as low as -40C...

Thanks for your help!

Is there a neutral wire in your circuit? Without a neutral wire, the HS210 cannot be installed.

To install a HS210 with a dumb three-way switch, live wire in the circuit should connect to HS210 and the load wire to the dumb switch. If there is a live wire on the dumb switch, just cap it with a wire nut.
