Is there any way to automatically download clips from an sd card?

As you know, if my camera gets stolen the the evidence on it's internal sd card is gone. So I'd like to prriodically download the clips.

I know that you'd like me to sign up to Tapo Care, but it's too expensive, and that's why I moved from my Ring doorbell.

  @Samo Apparently, you would use the Tapo H200 Hub and set that up as the "local storage" device, rather than an internal SD card. I'm interested in the same idea. See this article for how to set it up: Connect Tapo C425 to H200 Hub: Video Storage & Network Backup Option - Smart Home Community

  @Walt_2024 Hi

Thanks for the reply, but that only applies to the C420 and a couple of other cameras.

With devices like C120 and TC60 there's no option to connect them to the H200

  @Samo Tapo states their hardwired cameras (not battery powered) can be used with a 3rd party NVR system, but check the specifications to see if it supports  RTST and ONVIF protocols. If so, you would use 3rd party software (iSpy) to manage captures and viewing.

Lots of great information on the forum:
