Tapo,

i have 4 security cameras connnected to my Synology NAS Surveillance station, 2 of them are D-Link and 2 are Tapo C100

I have a problem with the Tapo cameras due to the terrible quality of the audio, conversations are almost incomprehensible and there are loud background noises.

I read in some forum that you can provide a special firmware fixing the audio quality, can you please send it to me?

Hi,
If the audio from the camera sounds muffled or unclear, you may try the following suggestions:
    1. Make sure that there are no obstructions covering the microphone and speaker openings on the camera.
    2. Adjust the microphone and speaker volume of the camera.
    3. Ensure the camera is positioned to allow clear and unobstructed sound reception. Avoid placing it in enclosed spaces or near surfaces that may reflect sound.

 

If the problem remains, please confirm:
    1. Whether the audio quality is good when you watch the camera via the Tapo app?
    2. Would you please send us a video showing the reported issue, and how you recorded the video?
