Tapo Outdoor camera automatically removed from Tapo app
The C320WS Camera gets automatically removed from Tapo app. I have had to re-add the camera to the app for 5 times in last 6 days.
I also saw another thread on this same issue but closing and reopening app did not work for me. https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/610022
Does anyone have a solution?
I am on the latest App version as of 26.10.2024.

I don't have a solution but I want to follow this as I have 2 of these cameras and I am having issues with them. All of my other tapo cams can be seen in Google home, but not the c320sw...
Seems these cameras may have some bugs the engineers need to work out.

@prav2909 have you tried pressing the reset button on the camera? You usually need a pin to push it, and it think you have to hold it for like 5 seconds or until it beeps.

I tried resetting it, still did not solve the issue.
Did it work for you?
Also, is there a way to bring this to the notice of Tapo Engineers?
I emailed them on support.in@tp-link.com but no one replied, it has been a week now.

@prav2909 no, I didn't have that issue with mine, hopefully it doesn't start.
As for the engineers, have you tried the char service? If they can't figure it out they will sent it to an engineer to look into.

Hi,
If your problem differs from this one, it's recommended to start a new thread to report your issue for further assistance.

Hi,
1. Please send me(@Solla-topee) the camera's MAC address via a private message.
2. How about the LED status on the camera when you see the "Device Already Removed" notification?
Do you see this message when your phone connects to other Wi-Fi networks or uses mobile data only?

Hi,
Thank you for the information provided.
Typically, the camera won't be removed from the Tapo app itself. Have you shared your TP-Link account with another person, such as your family or friend, and they remove the camera from the Tapo app, or factory reset the camera by pressing the reset button?
You can try to change the password of your TP-Link account and enable the 2FA feature on your Tapo app to protect your TP-Link account, and then check if the camera will be removed from the Tapo app or not.
What can I do if I forget my password of the cloud account?

Hi, this was also my first thought.
So, I changed my password and also removed everyone to whom I had shared camera a guests.
It still did not solve the issue.

Hi,
If you are using an iPhone, after the problem occurred, please record the date & time, then send it to us. Then go to the Tapo app > Me > Help & Feedback page to send me the app logs for further analysis.
Please let me know after you send us the app logs via the Tapo app.
Best Regards
