KP105 can't factory reset and won't connect to wifi
Hi
I have several KP105 units and until recently all was well. I left one device unpowered for a week and when I turned on the 240V supply rather than connect to the wifi network as usual the unit indicator started to flash alternate orange / green LED. The flashing is a little irregular in duty cycle.
I cannot connect to the devices inbuilt wifi network with either a phone or macbook so I cant reconfigure it.
Pressing and holding the power button for 5 seconds, 10 seconds or even longer does not invoke any different behaviour.
Are there any further methods of hard reset ?
Regards Paul

This smart has been reset and it is in the set up mode now (flashing orange and green light).
Why is your phone not able to connect to the smart plug wifi? Is it showing no internet? If that's the case, it is normal. This wifi is used for configuration only, it has no internet access. You may refer to the below instructions to configure it in the Kasa app.

Hello Wayne, thank you for the reply.
The device is not broadcasting the TP-Link Wifi , I cannot see it on several Iphones, a macbook nor a win pc.
If I could connect to it I suspect I could simply re configure it.
It is still (just) under warranty so have tried to raise a return ticket with the manufacturer but had no response yet.
(EDIT) Just a few moments ago I received a response from TP-Link so hopefully we can resolve this .

Does the LED light on the plug flash orange when you press and hold the power button to reset it?
If the KP105 still does not broadcast the device's WiFi after a proper reset, the related WiFi module may be damaged. Then it is time to apply the warranty.

No it just flashes green / orange continuously, the button has no effect.
