S210 in button mode
Is it possible to use the Tapo S210 in button mode?
To turn on only for 1 second after pressing
and then turn off by itself.
I want to use it instead of the old button to open the gate.

Tapo S210 is essentially a smart switch designed for lighting devices. If you want to wire it to control other electric devices, be sure to check the product manuals or consult TP-Link support to make sure the connected device is supported by the smart switch.

I've already managed to set it up via smart actions by creating a link, but it only works on the mobile app. I would also need to put the hardware switch in push button mode.

You can do that by creating an automation. How to create Smart Action (Automation or Shortcut) on Tapo app
E.g.
[When] S210 Turn On
[Then]
1. Delay 10s
2.Turn Off S210
