C210 Camera is showing offline on Phone App when Im on 4G
Hi there..
Both my C210 are working fine and visable when I view on the Tapo app on the local wifi network..
However, in the last week, I no longer seem to be able to view live video when accessing remotely on 4G or on another wifi network. The camera status just shows as Offline now but it is still actively recording, as it's visable as soon as I come home and join back onto the local wifi network..
has there been some firmware / setting change which has changed the way these camera work and I need to reactivate a camera setting to allow remote viewing from another network ?
** I have tried the cameras on a different wifi network ( different ISP ) and i get the same issue so seems like it something on the Camera itself rather than wifi network ?
Any advice would be appreciated as I cant find anything similar when searching online.
Thanks.
Jon

Hi,
You can refer to the instructions below to troubleshoot the reported issue.
What to do if I can't control my Tapo cameras on the Tapo app?
If the problem remains, please confirm:
1. The LED status on the camera.
2. The model number of your router. Do you have internet when connecting to the router's Wi-Fi?
3. Try to turn on a hotspot Wi-Fi on your phone, factory reset your camera, reconfigure it with a different phone, connect it to the hotspot Wi-Fi, and check if you can control the camera remotely.
By the way, the recording video to the SD card feature remains working when the camera does not have internet, and it has nothing to do with the offline issue.
Best Regards
