When I place my camera in a complete dark environment I cannot see anything.

I tried rebooting, reinstalling. Nothing works.

The camera automatically turns to night mode (I can hear the click), but if there is absolutely no source of light the screen is almost black (some vague shadows appear but no object can be detected).

Is this normal behaviour or the IR sensor is broken?
