Please can anyone tell me if I can control my heating and hot water from the wireless thermostat or the receiver rather than having to use an App all the time ? Many thanks

Correction: The KE100 smart thermostat valve is a Kasa device, not Tapo.
KE100 is a thermostat valve that adjusts the temperature by controlling the flow of the hot water, it does not control the heater directly. To adjust the temperature, you can either use the Kasa app or manually rotate the KE100 control knob.
KE100 supports the Smart Control feature, which allows you to set different target temperatures for different time periods throughout the day, and add different schedule plans for each day of the week. How does KE100’s Smart Control work?

Only with third party solution connecting devices of different vendors, e.g. Home Assistant.
TP-Link does not offer physical controllers (knobs etc.), NO/COM switches or OpenTherm devices to control the boiler within their ecosystem.
