Help! We are on vacation, and our Tapo C200 keeps removing the activity zones, this happens about 25 times a day...

Because of this, we can’t monitor how much our cats are eating (they are being taken care of and are somewhat monitored, but we really want to keep an eye on this ourselves due to chronic kidney disease).

We would really appreciate some help! The only solution we can find is a hard reset, but that would require reconnecting the app to the Wi-Fi, which we can’t do because we are currently traveling.

Is your TP-Link account or the camera shared with anyone? If someone has control of the camera, when using the camera Home/Away mode feature within the app, the camera's detection settings are altered, such as the detection zone in your case. How to edit Home and Away Mode for Tapo Cameras on the Tapo app

The Home/Away mode settings are saved locally on the mobile device/app only. Setting changes will be automatically synchronized to the phones (Tapo app) that are logged into the same TP-Link account.

You may try to restart the camera, see if that helps. <Tapo App -- Camera Settings -> Reboot camera.>
