Do you use My Presets on the device's page or the Brightness Preset on the device's settings? Please share a screenshot or a video of the problem.

Hi Wayne
Obviously you use the "brightness preset" in device settings to change the values of the "my presets" on the first page of the device.
This no longer works after the firmware update mentioned above.
You gou into the "brightness preset" in options, change the setting with the slider to your desired setting, back out to the first page. This setting is not displayed in "my presets"
I have also tested this with my partners phone (Pixel 7a) on her L510 bulb. It was working fine saving the presets in the way described. I then did the firmware update on her bulb and tested the ability to set the "my presets" value. It now, no longer saves the value set.
Tapo app ver on bothe devices 3.6.116
Sorry cant share a video.
But hope this helps
regards

The firmware hasn't been released yet. But a beta version is available. If you would like to try it, send the Mac address of the smart bulb to me via private message.

Until the firmware rolls out there is a work around I am using.
Setup a shortcut for the device in question for the desired brightness.
Tap> smart > shortcuts > then + (top right) will bring up "Add Smart action"
now tap shortcuts > "Add Action" > "control one device" > select your device > "turn on and customize lighting" > set your brightness > tap done > tap done > tap create
give it a name and select icon > tap done and finally tap save
This will now come up on your home screen as a shortcut to set you bulb to your desired brightness.
Long winded way of setting it up but it works :)

I got the Beta firmware 1.3.2 Build 20240919 Rel. 37551 sent to my device.
However the update fails every time I try to install it.
See screen-shot:
I have the latest Tapo app 3.7.811.
Has anyone succesfully installed this beta update?
