  @Wayne-TP

Hi, my Tapo C425 updated to version 1.20 with firmware 1.2.21 Build as 240809 Rel.52696n .

Is it ok to connect to H200 that I would like to buy, with T110 detectors.

More, I am living in big house with large walls (60/80cm) and not sure one H200 would be sufficient.

Can we couple several H200 and how would the whole work.

Many thanks in advance

Nicolas

Unfortunately, this feature is not available for the Tapo C425 V1.20. You may stay updated on the future firmware release information for the product to learn about new features and changes.

Tapo H200 supports connection to the router only. The hubs cannot connect to each other. To use multiple hubs, make sure that the location where you plan to install the hub has a strong 2.4GHz WiFi signal or an ethernet interface.

Hi!

Is c425 v1.2 a different camera than C425 v1.35, or will my c425 v1.2 be updated to v1.35 so i can use local storage on H200?

Br,

Kurt

  @Kurt78

Tapo C425 has two hardware versions so far, V1.0 and V1.20. Their corresponding firmware version is different.

The feature mentioned in this post applies to Tapo C425 hardware version 1.0 in the firmware version 1.3.9 Build 240701 Rel.67934n.  >> Tapo C425 (EU/US) 1.0 Firmware 1.3.9 Build 240701 Rel.67934n

If your device's hardware version is V1.20, then it does not support this feature at the moment. The hardware version cannot be updated through software.

  @Wayne-TP I tried all but it is not working so far.

In the settings of the C425 I can't acces network settings. Nothing is happening when I click on it. So I can't connect the storage to the H200.
The other way around, trying to connect the C425 to the H200 in the device settings of the H200, there is no such tab as the Accessible tab, and I do not see the c425 as a camera to add here. Anyways, could anybody tell me how to use the sd storage in the H200 for the video of the wifi connected c425? It was sold to me as this would be a good idea, to store the video in the house on the H200. If the camera would get stolen, the sd card is still in the house with the video.

I firmware updated the H200 yesterday installing it. And I 'm using the latest Android app from Tapo.

c425 is hardware version 1.20, firmware 1.2.21

I hope someone could help me out. Quite frustrating to get stuck here...

If I open the camera and click on record, the recording is stored on my smartphone. In the same wifi as the camera AND in the same wifi as the H200. Why is it not possible to store the video on the sd card in the H200 ? I think this should be possible, or via a software update in the H200 or both the c425 and the H200.

Isn't it odd that version 1.0 can connect to the hub and version 1.2 can't. I presume that version 1.2 is the newer one?

  @Ammo69

As explained above and the listed info of this thread, this feature is currently only supported on the Tapo C425 in hardware version 1.0. The V1.20 is a different hardware version and does not support this feature so far.

As forum moderators, we don't have information on future features updates or optimizations for the product. You may keep an on the new firmware release for your device, the firmware release note will list all new features or related fixes.

  @Wayne-TP Just bought the latest hardware release, extremely odd behaviour to not keep the latest models with this kind of feature.

Can you try and dig a bit to see when/if this feature will be available on 1.20, or of not, why not? tips! If it differs so much in hardware, dont use the same model name ;)

  @Wayne-TP HIm

I got a camera C425, Hardware version 1.20 and Firmware 1.2.21 build 240809 Rel. 52696n. I am trying to connect the camera to the Tapo H200 hub. I followed your instructions, and at point 2. Click Network Connection -> Network Priority, I basically see only my wifi, I do not see "Network Priority" nor any other option. Could you please advise? PS: Am I wrong or in the official TP Link page it is written that the H200 hub does not support this C425 camera?

Thanks a lot
