Echo hub and d2301s1
Hi
can I check if the echo hub can show live feed of the d230s1 camera feed when a door bell is rang?
I saw from other thread and noticed that this is possible for echo show 8 with a routine.
does this work for echo hub?

By enabling the Doorbell Press Notification in the Alexa App for Tapo D230 doorbell, camera live stream will be showed on Alexa displays when someone presses the doorbell.

We have not yet tested this tablet. Generally speaking, if a device supports Alexa Show Mode, it can function as a display device, and its features should be similar to those of an Alexa display, such as the Fire tablet. https://us.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=G3JEMFDNH3FPB4XS

The Echo hub is a tablet, not a standard Alexa display device. There are numerous tablet devices on the market, it is not feasible to test each one individually. This model is not included in the devices that have been verified so far, so we cannot provide a certain answer.
As an Alexa device, their support should know more about whether this device has the same features as a standard Alexa display device (e.g. echo show), such as the display mode I mentioned earlier, which is supported by the fire tablet. If they are unable to provide an accurate answer, there’s not much we can do. You might consider checking with other users who have the same device to see if they can help verify this.
- Typically, on tablet devices, you can view the camera's live feed by opening either the Tapo App or the Alexa App.
- When the Tapo doorbell is paired with an Alexa display device, enabling the Doorbell Press Notification will allow camera live feed to show on the Alexa Display screen when someone rings the doorbell. You can then tap the microphone button on the Alexa display to decide whether to initiate a conversation.
