Tapo C500 Camera Getting Offline Frequently
Recently I bought a few home CCTV cameras including C200 and C500.
Before mounting them to desired places I have placed them in a common place side by side to test them for a few days.
The C500 cameras are getting offline frequently while C200 cameras are very stable. All are placed in the same place side by side.
C200 camera version is 3.0 and Firmware version is 1.3.14
Initially I thought that my home WiFi router might have some issue.
After monitoring for the last two weeks I realize that my home WiFi router has no issue and it is working perfectly fine for other devices.
Next I have disconnected all the other devices except the Tapo cameras from my home WiFi router. The issue still persists.
Everytime it gets offline I have to power cycle the Tapo C500 Cameras manually and within a minute they are getting online.
Initially those Tapo 500 cameras were getting offline after 15-16hrs, now they are getting offline within 5-6hrs since the last power cycle.
I tried to get support from Live-Chat-Support but this URL seems to be a chatbot and no use for me.
If anyone has faced this problem before let me know how you have fixed this.
I have update the Firmware in all the Tapo camera. 1.1.4
I have observed that the signal strength in all the camera shows -39 to -42 different times of the day.

Those were beta firmware revisions, meaning those are not available for long time.
You need to ask Solla-topee for creating a support ticket and push a firmware with fix in your cameras.
I shared those revision numbers and my ticket ID so that development or support team can refer the fixes they gave me.

Please can you just push the updated FW which has been proven to work in this thread.
1. Its a Nexxt Nebula 1200 My router model is irrelevant to this issue, as all other camera's work no problem.
2. It flashes red
3. I have already done diagnostics log. Do you need it?
My house is currently as risk because of the issue with this camera. If it doesn't get resolved this week, then I will return all the Tapo camera's and buy EZVIZ camera's which don't have these issues

Typically, you can refer to the instructions below to troubleshoot if the camera has an unstable issue.
What should I do if my Tapo smart devices keep losing connection or going offline?
OR you can do following -
1. Send the MAC address, Model Name, HW Version, Firmware Revision of your camera to (@Solla-topee) via a private message. He can create a Support Ticket on behalf of you and possibly push beta firmware to your device. Don't share the MAC address publicly in this forum.
2. Also mention the LED status on the camera when it loses connection? The LED status means the color and whether it's blinking or not.

I am facing similar issues with my 2 rather new C500 cameras:
1. They often go offline, with RED led light: I usually plug them on to other power outlet, and they work normally.
Some times I need to reset.
2. Now it is worse: both do not turn on but the chargers heats.

1. Do the two Tapo C500 cameras connected to the original power adapter come with the packages?
2. Does the LED on the Tapo C500 not turn on? Please press and hold the reset button on the camera for 10 seconds, does the LED turn on and change?

Hi I'm having the same problem with my C500 camera.
The camera keeps going offline and becomes unusable. To reactivate it I have to unplug it but then after a while it always goes offline again.
The led in my case remains solid green.
The model i s C500 (2.0).
Firmware 1.0.6
