Tapo C125 not reconnect after power outage
Tapo C125 not reconnect after power outage
I have two c125 cameras and every time the power goes out they don't reconnect to the wifi. All other Tapo devices reconnect without problems (3 plugs, 1 hub and 2 c425 cameras). To make them work I have to unplug them and plug them back in. The problem is that every time I'm away from home I'm left without those two cameras. Why does this happen?

Hi, sorry for the late response. I've currently moved and still have to put all the cameras back. In the next days I will check if the problem persists. We update here

i have a similar issue. I have eight P115 plugs and a C200 camera. Just had 2 power cuts and the P115s randomly reconnect or not. 5 reconnected after the last outage. On the first outage, only 2 automatically reconnected, so I can't see how this is the router. Possibly a race condition on which devices reboot first, but not router settings. I had to unplug and replug the others to reconnect them. One currently says it's offline in the Tapo app, but it has power and the device plugged into it is working - it's currently under a Christmas tree so I can't see it but I imagine it has a purple LED. The C200 camera just will not reconnect at all. I'm having to unplug and replug that every time. It's really frustrating that these devices do not consistently reconnect to the WiFi after a power outage.
