  @Solla-topee

does the team has a C320WS, a router and an app to test it?

would they open the firmware code to see inside it what the issue is?

  @mr_robot_dev Same exact issue on all my C120s. Static IP keeps forcing itself on in the Tapo app, no matter how many times I turn it off. I've tried with Camera Account off and it doesn't matter.

  @orien

Hi,
Please confirm the following information for further analysis.
1. Send me(@Solla-topee) your camera's MAC address via a private message.
2. Please describe your network diagram in detail.
3. Try to enable a hotspot Wi-Fi on your phone, factory reset one of your C120s, reconfigure it on another phone, connect it to the hotspot Wi-Fi, and check if the problem remains.
Best Regards

  @Solla-topee

Are you guys serious?

I have reported the problem MONTHS ago, and the problem is confirmed by other users and the TP-link level 1 support suggests to create a hotspot WIFI and factory reset the camera and connect the camera there...

Oh my God... let me tell you something Solla topee...

If you want us to work as debuggers TP LINK has to PAY US...

  @mr_robot_dev a couple days ago I provided logs after they made me install a debug fw.

Reading it and comparing with one from a stock firmware C320WS doesn't show particular differences, the log lacks in information, it just report the change from dynamic to static IP but no evidence about the reason.

It's funny that the stock camera, after enabling the diagnostic log, kept static IP disabled for about a week and renewed the IP every 12hrs (DHCP lease time configured is 24hrs). After disabling the log it set again static IP after the first lease expiry.

I think they won't find anything in the log, while still not opening the source code to try finding the issue
