Adding ONVIF support for Tapo C410, C420, and C425 cameras would bring significant benefits not only for users but also for TP-Link as a company: Business Advantages for TP-Link: 1. Increased Market Appeal – ONVIF support would attract more advanced users and businesses that rely on open standards for their surveillance systems. 2. Higher Sales & Customer Retention – Users looking for cameras compatible with third-party NVRs and smart home platforms would be more likely to choose Tapo over competitors. 3. Improved Brand Reputation – Supporting industry standards like ONVIF strengthens TP-Link’s position as a leading manufacturer of smart security solutions. 4. Reduced Customer Churn – Many users move to competitors like Reolink or Eufy due to the lack of ONVIF support. Adding it would increase customer loyalty. 5. Stronger Position in the Smart Home Ecosystem – ONVIF compatibility would make Tapo cameras a preferred choice for Home Assistant and other automation enthusiasts. No Need to Worry About Battery Drain The concern about battery drain should not be a barrier. ONVIF support can be implemented as an optional feature, allowing users to enable it when needed. Smart optimizations, such as low-power standby modes, can ensure that battery life remains competitive. By adding ONVIF, TP-Link would strengthen its market position, increase user satisfaction, and stay ahead of competitors—without compromising battery performance.

@algorythm How many votes does 1 feature request need?  Some have many votes, but still not attended to.  Just wondering if this forum is actually being considered on Tapo's app development.
