Bonjour

Merci

Hi,
The basic camera's detection mechanism is based on image changes between different frames. The frame is one of the many still images which compose the complete moving picture. If there is a difference between the frames, the camera will recognize it as a motion detected. When a car light or sunlight comes through the window, if there are changes in the image, the camera will detect the difference and alarm.
You can share your detection settings and a video showing the problem if you think the camera shouldn't alarm. And you can try to adjust the angle and location of the camera to check if it helps.

The shared account will have access to the Live View, Talk, Voice Call, Pan/Tilt Control, and the SD card video Features of the camera, but will be unable to change the other settings of the camera.
If you want the other person to turn off the alarm sound manually, you can share your account with them.
How to share my Tapo Smart Devices with my family?

Best Regards

  @Solla-topee

Hi

Thank you for this précise reply

When I shared my account with family they cannot Turn off the alarm. Why? I followed the steps described by the link but they  can only view, talk, call without turning off the alarme.

The camera is fix on th Window everytime trafic Light or sunlight are in the Window the frame indeed changes and alarm is on.

Thanks

Hi,
1. The shared account only has limited permissions on the camera, and it does not have permission to change the alarm settings.
2. It is normal for the camera to alarm after detecting changes in the detection zone. For your usage scenario, it is recommended to try changing the camera's position.
Best Regards
