Tapo C200 camera can be controlled only locally
Hello,
good quality camera with good price, but nightmare to setup and make it work for the purpose.
After I managed to make it pair, which was another problem which I fixed the help of the ISP, now I get in the Tapo App that the camera can be controlled only locally.
I did all the suggestions on the screen in the app - reset, restart, DNS. The firmware and the app are up-to-date.
Could you help me find the solution of the problem?
Thank you

@Solla-topee used the live chat and it got resolved.
Followed this instructions.
I created a new TP Link account, I suspect the one I have used was not set with the correct location.

Hi,
You can refer to the instructions below to troubleshoot if you fail to control the camera remotely.
What to do if I can't control my Tapo cameras on the Tapo app?
Please confirm the following information for the reported case for further analysis.
1. The LED status on the camera.
2. Send me(@Solla-topee) the camera's MAC address via a private message.
3. What is the model number of your router, and is your router working? Do you have internet when connecting to the router's 2.4G Wi-Fi?
4. Enable a hotspot Wi-Fi on your phone, factory reset your camera, reconfigure it with a different phone, connect it to the hotspot Wi-Fi, and check if the camera can be controlled remotely.
Best Regards
