An absolute load of crock.

Already obtained matter 1.3 certification - specification was released May 2024 - it's taken that long to get certification for something which was already promised prior to customers purchasing? Bs!

"ensure cross-platform compatibility through technical adaptations with major smart ecosystems (e.g., Amazon Alexa, Google Home, etc.)"

What exactly are you testing that's taking this long? That the watts/kwh reading is accurate? Does that actually take months/almost a year to do?

I wouldn't be believing a word that comes out of tp-links mouths, remember, these are the same people that said this device was matter capable when you purchased it, assured that it would come last year, and now is saying more bs. Somehow this time they're expected to be trustworthy?

Also, matter devices don’t need certification for individual implementations - that was the whole reason the matter standard was created. Devices adhere to the standard, and the platforms adhere to the same standard - you don’t need to certify, or test, your device across the platforms. So again, this is pure evidence that TP-Link yet again is deceiving and lying about it. Unless you see 1.3 update - assume that it’s not coming. TP-Link is getting caught in a web of lies and deception. If matter is important to you, DO NOT buy TP-Link
