H200 hub fail to generate matter code
Hi there,
Recently bought the doorbell that came with the hub. I have a Google Nest Hub max that I want to join my hub and doorbell to via matter.
It is already linked to Google Home. When I try to use the Bind to Matter (Beta) button in the Tapo app, it simply has an error "Failed to load setup code".
The app says I am on the latest firmware for the hub.
I have rebooted the device, swapped from Ethernet to Wifi but it always throws the same error message instantly. I have also tried going to Device Info > Matter Setup Code and it also fails instantly here.
What am I missing?

What's the version of your Tapo App? Have you tried to use another mobile device?
However, it's important to mention here that the doorbell is not a supported type by the Matter protocol so far. Stay tuned to the future updates!

@Wayne-TP Tapo version is 3.4.512 on Android
I have tried it on a different Android device with the same version.
Disappointed to find out that doorbells are not supported yet, however I assumed I was actually generating the Matter code to pair the H200 hub.
Fingers crossed this gets support soon and I can re-visit.

I am seeing the same issue from the Tapo app v3.4.512 on Android to a Tapo H200 hub with the 1.3.3 firmware.
While trying the "Bind to Matter (Beta)" functionality, the QR Code refuses to load. "Tap to refresh" doesn't do anything, and an error says "Failed to load the setup code.".
The other way going through "Device Info" and then "Matter Setup Code" produces the same error.
Both my phone and the hub are connected to the same 2.4Ghz wifi network.

Strangely, I don't see the same problem with the same Android app 3.4.512.
May I know what's the model and Android version of your phone? If the phone has its own system, such as Xiaomi MiUI, please share the system version as well.

@elderberrytp Exactly the same problem. Just got my H200 today, did all the firmware updates and Matter Setup coe won't generate.
I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S24 on the latest software update.

My H200 seemingly got a Firmware update about 12 hours ago, and I've tried to generate the code again several times and unfortunately it is still not working :(
