S210/S220 Automation Delay
S210/S220 Automation Delay
I have several S210s and S220s. One of the S220s has one switch connected to mains lights, and the other not connected to anything. Instead, I use the switch to trigger an automation to toggle another S220 switch. When using the switch, there's a delay if a couple of seconds (doesn't sound long, but long enough to notice and be annoying).
When using the Tapo app or even Google Home to trigger any of the switches it's immediate.
Given the switches are HAN/Zigbee, I can't use something like Home Assistant to try an alternative automation, and Google Home doesn't have a "toggle" automation, which complicates it as an alternative.
Any ideas or tips to make it faster?

the only way to fix is to replace your dummy (not connected to anything switch) s210/s220 with tapo s200b or s200d button, it turning on main switch s210/s220 automation and light without any delay haha, sadly it look ugly but there is no other way to deal with automation lag between two s210/s220 switches at this moment.

@SugarBaby no worries thanks for the reply. I have a fundamental requirement of keeping things as simple as possible for family a vistors - I don't want anyone having to learn how to use a light switch, so it has be as close as possible to a traditional switch
But thanks for the pointer, will keep that in mind
